The official images of the New Balance 990 'Grey/Green' have been released. The upper of this sneaker contains many autumnal colours.

The base of the upper of the New Balance is made of mesh. Over the mesh are suede overlays in a lot of different colours. The colours grey, green and beige make an appearance on the overlays this model.
Above the toecap are several leather overlays. These elements are in dark grey and in blue. The suede overlays go over these.
The tongue and the 'N' on the side are made in bordeaux red. These two elements are not made of suede, but of leather. The tongue also features an 'N' and 'MADE in USA'. The heel is dark green with 'USA' in grey and black.
The midsole is divided into two parts. The front part is white and is made of the ABZORB foam that New Balance designed for enhanced shock absorption. The rear part is yellowed and has a black heel edge. There is a blue border on the back of the midsole in the middle.
