Here are the Hottest Sneaker Releases of week 37.
SEPTEMBER 12: Air Jordan 1 WMNS 'University Gold'
At 09:00 am from €130
To start off this week's hottest sneaker releases, we have a brand new Air Jordan 1 Mid for the ladies. This 'University Gold' colorway takes inspiration from the Air Jordan 1 High 'Pollen' in regards to color blocking. The shoe comes in mainly yellow colors, while the middle panel, Air Jordan branding and tongue are black. The midsole is colored white to give the shoe some contrast.
SEPTEMBER 13: Air Jordan 1 Low Wear-Away 'Electric Green'
At 09:00 am from €100
The next sneaker on our list is another Air Jordan 1 but this time around it's the low variant. This AJ1 Low comes in 'Electric Green' colorway and it's a Wear-Away shoe. This means that over time the paint will wear away, giving the shoe a completely different look than its initial appearance.
The clean white leather base, black nylon tongue, black Swoosh and laces, green Jumpman branding, creamy midsole and black rubber outsole tie together the rest of the look. The AJ1 comes in men's and GS sizing.
SEPTEMBER 13: adidas adilette 22
At 10:00 am from €60
The adidas adilette 22 slides are getting a restock. The 2022 version of the well-known and beloved adilette slides are getting restocked once more. The adilette seems to take inspiration from Kanye West's Yeezy Slides with its chunky appearance and minimal branding. The only branding is the Trefoil logo and 'The brand with the three stripes' on the side. Also, the model has a 3D-printed look, which gives it a unique aesthetic.
SEPTEMBER 14: Nike Dunk Low Next Nature WMNS 'Light Curry'
At 09:00 am from €140
Next, we have another WMNS sneaker from Nike's Next Nature program. That means at least 20% of the sneaker is made of recycled and repurposed materials according to Nike. The 'Light Curry' colorway comes in the usual two-toned colorway featuring white and light curry brown colors.
Unlike the previously released 'Lilac' and 'Lime' colorways, this new shade gives the shoe a fall-ready look.
SEPTEMBER 15: Nike Air Max 1 'Crepe Hemp 2022'
At 09:00 am from €160
The Nike Air Max 1 'Crepe Hemp' 2022 is the modern reiteration of the original colorway from 2004. However, this retro release is not a 1:1, there are some differences compared to the original sneakers. An annoyance of the OG AM1 sneakers was the toe because it would wear out very quickly. On the 2022 version, we see a different, stronger, material that looks like the original one.
The new version of the shoe also boasts slightly different hues which give the shoe a fresher feeling and helps the '04 version retain value.
SEPTEMBER 15: J Balvin x Air Jordan 2
At 09:00 am from €300
After their successful collab on the Air Jordan 1, J Balvin and Nike clashed once more to refresh the AJ2's '86 design. The puffed-up upper comes in a 'Celestine Blue' colorway which works very well together with the cloud graphics around the heel, collar and insoles. In addition, the sneaker features rainbow-colored stitching. To round off the design, the AJ2 x J Balving comes with glow-in-the-dark outsoles, a light-up logo on the tongue, and the signature J Balvin smiley on the heel.
SEPTEMBER 15: J Balvin x Air Jordan Super Play 'Celestine Blue'
At 09:00 am from €75
From the same capsule as the previous entry on the list, we have the J Balvin x Air Jordan Super Play slide. The slide has similar elements to the AJ2 with puffed-up panels in the 'Celestine Blue' colorway and cloudy patterns. The rainbow stitching returns on the AJ Super Play as well together with the glow-in-the-dark foam underfoot.
SEPTEMBER 15: Nike Dunk High 'Dark Beetroot'
At 09:00 am from €120
The Nike Dunk High 'Dark Beetroot' comes in a two-toned colorway. The leather upper comes with a wolf grey base and dark beetroot-colored overlays. The Swoosh is dark beetroot as well just like the laces. Nike branding appears on the tongue and insoles. A white midsole breaks up the colors a little and then the dark beetroot color continues on the outsoles.
SEPTEMBER 15: Nike Dunk High 'Lakers'
At 09:00 am from €120
Same color blocking as the 'Dark Beetroot'. The Nike Dunk High 'Lakers' takes inspiration from LA Lakers, the iconic basketball team from Los Angeles. The sneaker boasts the team's also iconic 'Court Purple' and yellow colors. Purple appears on the Swoosh, mudguards, overlays, outsoles and collar while the rest of the shoe is yellow. The midsole is white again.
SEPTEMBER 16: Air Jordan 3 'Dark Iris'
At 09:00 am from €140
Last week we saw the AJ3 'Fire Red' and now Nike is treating us with the Air Jordan 3 'Dark Iris'. The sneaker comes with a leather upper in white and features the iconic 'elephant' print on the mudguard around the toebox and around the heel. The 'Dark Iris' will be available in men's and GS sizing.
SEPTEMBER 16: Drake x Nike Hot Step Air Terra 'University Gold' - NOCTA
At 09:00 am from €155
To round off this week's hottest sneaker releases we have a brand new Drake x Nike Hot Step Air Terra in 'University Gold' colorway. We had the 'White' and 'Triple Black' colorways before. The impending Drake x Nike collaboration pairs smooth black leather and tough sole units with vivid yellow contrast across branding, underlays, and on the bottom of the outsole.
This is a small tweak from 'Black' colorway. The sneaker is designed to match the color scheme of the 35-year-old artist's original NOCTA clothing line, which is inspired by London's "roadmen" culture. NOCTA logos at the top of the tongue, as well as elements close to the tongue and the inner-lining, give a trifecta of University Gold flair.
