The collaboration between Gucci and The North Face is expanding, adding a host of items to their collection. The two brands came up with an extensive collection in early December 2021. This collection will be supplemented with a number of items by the end of 2021.
Gucci and The North Face came up with an outerwear collection in early December 2021. Some 130 items were released in this collaboration. Among them were various puffer jackets, body warmers and jumpers. The items had different prints. A floral print was featured on several items and a forest print was seen on the items. The famous Gucci motif was also used.
In the second part of the collaboration, various retro items reappear. In the trailer for the campaign, we see the landscape of Iceland. This collection also consists of various outerwear items. In addition, the Gucci motif appears on puffers, boots and bags.
The upcoming collection consists of a lot of different items. These include jackets, trousers, jumpers and dresses. On the items, the same prints can be seen as in the first collection. The floral print returns on a number of items. The collection also includes accessories, such as bags, hats and caps.
Sustainability is central to the collection. For example, the puffers are made of responsible down insulation. ECONYL replaces the nylon in the garments, which makes the items more durable. The items are also packed in paper and cardboard to reduce waste.
