Footpatrol and Mizuno drop the Wave Rider 10 'Rust'

Japanese sports label Mizuno is gaining a bigger name in the trainer industry through various collabs. Earlier in 2022, the sportswear manufacturer collaborated with Amsterdam-based Patta and futuristic artist Hajime Sorayama. Now Mizuno is celebrating the 20th anniversary of Footpatrol by releasing a shoe together with the London trainer boutique.

The Footpatrol x Mizuno Wave Rider 10 'Rust' features a rust-coloured colourway. Like nature, the pair is made up of a mix of materials and textures. Longhair suede covers the toebox and collar. The mid panel and heel feature an airy mesh, over which are suede and leather overlays. These overlays come in the colours 'Driftwood Brown', 'Berry Conserve' and 'Green Environment', each representing a state of erosion.

The speckled midsole and rubber trail outsole add to the outdoors look. The sole also features Wave Technology, which provides a unique combination of cushioning, stability and energy return with every step.

The Footpatrol x Mizuno Wave Rider 10 'Rust' will be available from 21 July 2022 via the website of Footpatrol.
