Jacquemus and Nike collaborate for the first time. Jacquemus is the high-end fashion brand of French fashion designer Simon Porte Jacquemus. The two names come up with different items that have been given an outdoor look. The collection is expected to be released on 28 June 2022.
For the first time Nike is collaborating with French fashion brand Jacquemus. You might know the brand from its small, colourful bags. The brand was founded in 2009 under the leadership of Simon Porte Jacquemus, born and raised in Marseille. The collab with Nike is one of the first major collabs the fashion brand has had.
At the end of 2021, there was already speculation that Jacquemus would collaborate with Nike. In a fashion show in Hawaii, the models wore various Nike models, including the Shox 6E and 6F. Now, some six months later, Jacquemus has shared the first images from the upcoming collection.
The items in the collection have been given an outdoor look. Different shades of brown come to the fore and the trainers in the collection have a rough look. "For this collaboration with Nike, I wanted to create a collection that reinterprets athletic women's sportswear in a minimal way," Simon says in an interview with Nike.
