The first images of the RIMOWA x adidas NMD R1 have surfaced. In addition to the recent collaboration with Pharrell Williams, adidas is now teaming up with luggage brand RIMOWA. When this pair will be released is still unknown. However, we can expect the sneaker in 2022.
adidas is joining forces with RIMOWA for the first time. RIMOWA is a luggage brand known for its luxurious suitcases. The brand has been making suitcases since 1898. The items combine high tech and premium materials. The chic look of the suitcases is brought back in the NMD R1.
The RIMOWA x adidas NMD R1 has a chunky look and colours olive green. The upper is made of PrimeKnit and features an abstract print. Orange details are put on the upper. The laces have also been given a bright orange color.
On the heel and collar, the RIMOWA logo appears. The midsole colors beige and has been given abstract elements. On the insole, both logos are set. Also printed here is 'MADE IN GERMANY', which refers to the German brand adidas.
