Patta and New Balance team up again and will soon come out with a 990v3 colorway. The New Balance 990 line celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2022 and does so with a sleek colorway in collaboration with Patta. The sneaker does not yet have an official release date.
Shortly after collaborating with Nike, 'The Second Wave', a follow-up to the 2021 'The Wave' collab, Patta is now teaming up with New Balance. The two names are no strangers to each other and came out with a colorway of the New Balance 920 in 2020. The 991 silhouette also received a makeover from the Amsterdam-based streetwear label in 2021.
Now the two names come with a 990v3 colorway. The New Balance model has come a long way in 2022 and now comes in a light green colorway. The upper's color is olive green and is made of mesh. Suede overlays are placed all over the silhouette. These come in a dark olive-green color. The toecap and heel have been given bright green details.
The centre panel features the familiar N logo. This has a silver color here. On the tongue, the New Balance logo is set and the diamond motif recurs. On the heel, the 'P' is set, this hinting at the collaboration with Patta. Above this is set 'Made in USA', which refers to the line paying tribute to the New Balance production line in America.
The sneaker is supported by an off-white midsole. ENCAP technology provides cushioning and comfort. Also, the Patta x New Balance 990v3 comes in a custom shoebox. This is bright orange and features Patta's logo on the lid.
