The wildly popular New Balance 550, is getting two new colorways. A gold one and a purple one will be joining the collection. Although there is no official connection between the La Lakers and the colorways, it is hard not to make the comparison. After all, the gold and purple seamlessly match the colours of the American basketball team. When exactly the pairs will be released is unfortunately not yet known, although it will definitely still take place in 2022.
Both colorways have an upper made almost entirely of leather. Only the heel is made of mesh. The base of the shoes has a white colour. In addition, one pair comes with 'home' colours on the sole, tongue and branding. The other pair uses a deep purple color on these elements.
The sneakers have a distinct Lakers look, thats for sure. The official images of the New Balance 550 Lakers pack can be viewed below!
