The first images of a HUF x Nike SB Dunk Low pack have leaked. The sneaker is an ode to Keith Hufnagel. Hufnagel was the founder of HUF and passed away in 2020. HUF and Nike SB are teaming up for this tribute as both brands celebrate their 20th anniversary this year, 2022.
A total of three different colorways will be released from this collaboration, one of which is just for Friends & Family. We can immediately see that the colour schemes are inspired by New York City and San Francisco. HUF has physical shops in both cities.
The New York City colorway has an upper made of leather. The overlays are white and the base of the upper is navy. This dark blue colour is reflected on the outsole. The toebox features 'HUF' with the Nike Swoosh running through it. The midsole is slightly yellowed, as are the laces. This gives the shoe a vintage look. The heel features the city skyline.
The vintage look is also reflected on the San Francisco colorway. On this pair, the overlays are black and the base of the upper is white. This colorway has orange accents. We also see the skyline of the respective city on the heel of this pair.
The heel makes the homage to Keith Hufnagel clear. There is no branding on the heel tab, but 'Keith Forever'.
The third colorway has green accents and is an exclusive Friends & Family pair. The rest of the upper consists of different shades of grey. This makes the green accents stand out even more.
There is no release information yet on the HUF x Nike SB Dunk Low pack. As soon as more information is available, you can find it on our Instagram or news page. Check out the first images of the pairs below.
