For the El Clásico on 28 October 2023, FC Barcelona will wear The Rolling Stones' iconic tongue and lip logo on their Barça kit. This will replace the usual Spotify logo, paying tribute to the release of the British band's new album “Hackney Diamonds”.
This is not the first time the iconic jersey will attract worldwide attention. Earlier, Barça wore Drake's signature owl silhouette against Real Madrid as part of its partnership with Spotify.
The Rolling Stones logo change is an example of how FC Barcelona and Spotify are bringing together the worlds of music and football in a way that has not been seen before.
The Rolling Stones' iconic sound has been the focal point for listeners worldwide. It has inspired the lives of fans near and far, young and old. Moreover, their latest album “Hackney Diamonds” is their first album of original material in 18 years. All this highlights why their presence on the Barça shirt is more than deserved.
We also recently saw FC Barcelona's features on the Nike Air Max Plus in a collaboration with Patta, and the iconic colours can be found on the SB Dunk Low 'Barcelona'. Curious about all the FC Barcelona collaborations? Then take a look at our sneaker search engine!
