Extraterrestrial patterns on the Air Max 90 NRG Golf 'Space'

Golf is the only sport that has ever been played in space. The Nike Air Max 90 NRG honours this historic moment with space inspired graphics on the shoe. The white Air Max 90 features green and pink colours throughout the sneaker.

A question we have all asked: What does NRG stand for? Nike NRG is pronounced as Nike Energy. The letters are often found behind Jordan and Nike sneakers, but they are also used on clothing items. It is usually about a golf shoe.

The Nike Air Max 90 has been a favourite for years, so new colourways are always welcome. As mentioned earlier, the sneaker is inspired by the sport of golf, which was played in space. This theme is evident throughout the sneaker.

We see a white base of leather on the overlays and mesh in the toebox. Over this white upper, we see green graphics of space aliens and golf gear among other things. The green colour of the graphics can also be found on the laces and backtab. Furthermore, the Air Max features pink details. The colour can be found on the sole, eyestays and branding on the tongue. On this tongue, you can find another nice detail. Namely an alien, with the Swoosh. The golf sneaker and its details can be seen on the pictures at the bottom of this blog!

The Nike Air Max 90 NRG Golf 'Space' has already been dropped by Nike. For £133 the pair can be yours! Keep an eye on the release calendar, so you never miss a release. For more sneaker news check out our blog!
