Extra Butter and adidas celebrate National Dog Day together with the Consortium CSG 91. This sneaker is inspired by dogs.
The Consortium CSG 91 was first released in 1993 and was part of adidas' EQT line. This collaboration comes out for the 30th anniversary of the EQT line.
Extra Butter x adidas Consortium CSG 91 'Man's Best Friend'
The upper of this Consortium is made of various materials in different shades of grey. The subtle details clearly show that this release is inspired by dogs.
The base of the upper is designed with mesh. Over the base are overlays of suede in grey, white, dark brown and light brown. On the side are the three adidas hard plastic stripes in black and light brown.
Around the heel is a hairy material. When you stroke it, it feels like you are petting a little dog. This hair is mixed dark grey and white.
The midsole is white with a black and pink outsole. Under the heel is the imprint of a dog's paw as an additional detail.
