Art lovers beware, British retailers End. and adidas are coming together for a new collaboration that is inspired by the Bauhaus art school. The End x adidas collaboration consists of 3 different sneakers including the Bermuda, Handball Spezial and the ZX40. The pieces of the collab will drop on 24 February 2023. You can sign up for the raffles via the END. launch page.
History of the Bauhaus
The Bauhaus institute was a German art school operational from 1919 to 1933 that combined crafts and art. The school managed to become famous for its unique approach to design, which managed to combine individual artistic vision with the principles of mass production. The Bauhaus style eventually became one of the most influential movements in modern design and architecture. With an influence that can still be seen today.
The Bauhaus institute dissolved years ago, yet the art school still manages to leave its mark on modern culture to this day. German adidas and British END. pay now tribute to this academy with this new collaboration.
The 3-part collaboration
The collection consists of 3 different sneakers. First, we look at the End. x adidas Bermuda. A sporty classic with a colourful jacket. The sneaker comes entirely in yellow with a light blue heel on which the logo of both adidas and END. can be found in gold. The 2 outer stripes are red with a light blue stripe in the middle. To finish it off, the sneaker has a characteristic gumsole.
As a counterpoint to the Bermuda, adidas and End. have joined forces to create the End x adidas Handball Spezial. Unlike the Bermuda, this colourful sneaker comes entirely in blue with a yellow heel. The 2 outer stripes here are also red with a yellow stripe in the middle with gold branding of the Spezial on top. To finish it off, the sole of the sneaker here is completely in blue.
To complete this collaboration, we have the END. x adidas zx 420. The sneaker comes in a cream colorway with a variety of colourful accents. The 3 stripes are a nod to the other 2 silhouettes of these collaborations with the blue and yellow colours of the 3 stripes. On the heel, the logo of both brands can once again be found. To finish it off, the bottom of the sneaker has a gum sole. A clean silhouette with a slight hint of colour.
The collaboration drops on 24 February 2023 via a raffle on END's website. Click via the button below to get to END's launch page. Also, make sure to take a look at our Instagram @Sneakerjagers for the latest sneaker content.
