Mobb Deep
We can't have a guest every week though! That's why this week we got a set from The Turnover resident DJ Turne. He always brings some funky, old-school, and overall amazing sets. This week he delivers a special Mobb Deep set where he plays and mixes the most popular tracks from the hip-hop duo Mobb Deep.
Mobb Deep is a hip-hop duo from New York City formed in 1991. The duo consists of rappers Prodigy and Havoc. Prodigy, unfortunately, passed away in 2017 but Havoc is still active and is currently working on a new Mobb Deep album. Mobb Deep is widely considered one of the most important pioneers of East Coast hardcore hip-hop and hip-hop of the mid-1990s. With over 3 million records sold, Mobb Deep has become one of the most successful rap duos of all time.
The Turnover
The Turnover by Sneakerjagers and presented by DJ Turne is a weekly (well almost, we try) radio show with various DJs from many different genres. The episodes generally last 30-40 minutes so if you want to relax for a bit and discover new music, then it's ideal.
