Q&A DJ Kace

  1. What is your favorite song of all time?
A very tough and impossible question, but the first song that pops in my mind is Pete Rock & CL Smooth's T.R.O.Y, so I'll go with that.
  2. What's the most special place you've ever played?
Back in Kenya, I once played in a maximum security prison for the inmates on a cultural day that they had been able to organize. I don't think I've ever seen that much energy and joy on a totally sober dance floor, it was amazing to be a part of.
  3. If you could only play one artist like this for the rest of your life, who would you choose?
Because of the size and diversity in his body of work, I think I might go with Kanye West, or even for some Bob Marley to keep the vibes chill.
  4. What is your last sneaker you bought?
All white Air Force 1's, keeping it classic.
  5. What is your holy sneaker grail?
The holy grail would be to get to be able to collaborate on creating my own sneaker line or edition, that would be beyond amazing.
  6. What future sneaker release are you most excited about?
The set of Air Jordan 1 Retro OGs all look pretty sick, as does the Air Jordan 312 "Year of the Rabbit"
  7. What is your favorite sneaker to perform in?
Air Jordan 1's always seem to put an extra spring in my step, they're usually my go-to.
