We are seeing more and more sustainable sneakers coming onto the market. Major sneaker manufacturers are releasing their popular sneakers in a new, sustainable way. Adidas is also working hard to produce its sneakers sustainably. Earlier this year, they dropped the adidas Clean Classic pack, where their classics have been converted into a sustainable sneaker. adidas Stan Smith Clean Classic 'White/Green'
A true classic. The adidas Stan Smith. The leather upper has been exchanged for recycled materials. As we often see, the sneaker is white here as well. The backtab with the adidas logo has also been made white, which makes the other details more striking. On the heel is the message: "This shoe alone will not save the planet". The text is made green, which matches the green laces.
adidas Stan Smith Clean Classic 'White'
Once again the Stan Smith has been used in the Clean Classic pack. This time the colour details on the upper part have been left out. The sole is coloured yellow, with coloured speckles on it. Recycled materials have been used here as well. The sole, for example, is made of recycled rubber.
adidas Superstar Bold Clean Classic 'Cloud White'
Of course, the Superstar cannot be missing from the classic package either. The adidas Superstar Bold has a platform sole, which makes the sneaker extra interesting. The upper is white and made of primegreen. Also the 'three-stripes' and adidas logos are left white. The sole and shell toe have a white/yellow discoloured look.
adidas Superstar Bold W Clean Classic 'White'
For the second time in this pack, the Superstar Bold has been used. This time in a white with purple colorway. The sneaker is, of course, also made from recycled materials. On the heel of the white upper is again the message: "This shoe alone will not save the planet". This text is written in purple, which matches the purple laces in the sneaker.
adidas Continental 80 Clean Classic
The next classic in the pack is the adidas Continental 80. It made a big comeback this year. Also on this sneaker we see the message again on the white top. This time in red letters, so also with red laces. Furthermore, all the details on the sneaker have been left white.
adidias Continental 80 Clean Classic 'White'
This sneaker has also been added twice to the Clean Classic Pack. The upper part is white. Here, too, primegreen material has been used. Primegreen is made from recycled components. The sole of this Classic is white/yellow discoloured, giving it a vintage look.
adidas Superstar Clean Classic 'White'
The 3rd adidas Superstar in this pack. This time as we are accustomed to him, without a bold sole. The sneaker has a full white colorway. Again we used the vintage look, by making the sole and nose white/yellow. The 'three-stripes' have loose edges, just like we see on the backtab.
adidas Superstar Clean Classic
The latest Superstar of the adidas Clean Classic pack. The white sneaker with black accents. Also here we see the message written on the heel. The black colour comes back on the laces. This is also the only sneaker in this pack that has a logo with colour. Superstar' is written in black letters next to the 'three-stripes'.
adidas Supercourt Clean Classic 'White'
The last sneaker in the Clean Classic pack. The Supercourt is also a classic of adidas and fits well in this pack. The leather on the upper has been exchanged for recycled materials. The sole is also made of recycled rubber. The sneaker is completely white. Only the message on the heel has a blue colour. Just like the other pairs, it says here "This shoe alone will not save the planet."
