The Powerpuff Girls are considered some of the most beloved characters in Cartoon Network history. To celebrate that fans can get ready for two reissues of the Powerpuff Girls franchise, Nike SB has decided to team up for a three-part exclusive Dunk release.
The Powerpuff Girls x Nike SB Dunk Low design
All three designs consist of a vibrant colour palette. Starting with 'Blossom', which features a bold pink colour scheme as a nod to the Powerpuff Girl Blossom's signature colour. It is accented with orange details referring to her hair colour. The 'Buttercup' follows with a similar design. It has a green satin upper with black Swooshes, laces, and a midsole that rises above the translucent outsole. Finally, the third pair, the 'Bubbles' version. This SB Dunk shines with a shimmering blue upper, yellow on the Swooshes and laces and black on the midsole.
A striking feature of each pair is the enlarged heel tab, on which the eyes of The Powerpuff Girls are embroidered. In addition, each pair includes co-branding on both the inner and outer sides of the tongue and special illustrations can be found on the insoles.
