In September 2020, we saw the first releases from the DENHAM x Nike collaboration. Then the Air Max 1, Air Max 90 and Air Max 95 came out. The rumours of a DENHAM Nike Blazer were already circulating, but we never saw a release of the sneaker. Now, a release date has been announced and we can expect the sneaker on Thursday, February 11!
DENHAM was founded in 2008 by English jean maker Jason Denham. Jason Denham is obsessed with making premium denim. DENHAM makes their products with passion and innovation, while honouring the tradition of denim making. The brand always offers premium products and brings a story with every product. The designs are inspired by Far Eastern design influences. Jason Denham is precise with details and the brand's slogan is "The Truth is in the Details".
DENHAM x Nike Blazer Mid 77 | CU8054-100
As we know from most Nike Blazers, this edition is again very simple, but full of detail. The upper is made from premium soft leather with some suede overlays on the toebox and midfoot. Paying homage to the far east, DENHAM has added the artisanal sashiko style to the denim Swoosh. This is an original Japanese repair technique used between 1615 and 1868. On each pair, the foundation is different, making each sneaker unique. A red leather insole with gold scissors is used as decoration.
You can already sign up for the raffle on Denham's site. Additionally, the DENHAM x Nike Blazer Mid 77 will be released via the Nike SNKRS app on Thursday, February 11 for €180. Check out the images below and keep an eye on our release calendar to stay up to date with the latest sneaker releases.
