Europe's largest sneaker festival Crepe City is coming to Amsterdam on July 31, 2022. During this day, the NDSM Loods in Amsterdam North will be filled with the best sneakers, streetwear and vintage stalls. There will also be interesting talk shows in which the biggest sneaker lovers of Dutch soil will talk about their shared passion. Let's check all the details, dear community:
Crepe City
Sneaker festival Crepe City is coming to the Netherlands for the first time this year, 2022. The festival was first organized in England in 2009. With cities like Birmingham, Wembley and Glasgow as predecessors, this weekend it is Amsterdam's turn to host the festival. This will take place at the NDSM Loods, Amsterdam-Noord.
With over 150 stalls, the NDSM Loods is the place to be for sneaker lovers this weekend. Crepe City will come with a wide and diverse range of sneakers and retailers. For example, shops like Prime 030, Outsole and Approved Sneakers will be present, as well as Caroll Lynn (@careaux), who is known for her sneaker-related artwork.
There will also be several booths from British soil. Sellers such as Kent Baller, Ponder Kicks and Prettyie will also be present during this edition of Crepe City. Besides the various sneaker stands, there are also stalls with vintage items and streetwear from brands such as Supreme, Palace and many more.
Talkshows & giveaways
Throughout the day, there are also several talk shows. Guests such as Nonski, Maartje van den Hurk, Davy James and Joey Michael will talk about sneakers and the culture around them. DJ Cliffhanger and DJ DEF will to this be spinning some nice tunes throughout the day. At the street food stalls inside and outside the grounds you can get different dishes.
In addition, visitors can participate in various giveaways. For example, Outsole is giving away a voucher worth €200 to the visitor with the best Nike Air Max on his feet. There are also various games organized on stage and you will have a chance to win some Foot Locker vouchers.
For the gentlemen there are several barbershop stands. Cut Throat Barbers from Amsterdam has its own stand where you can come for a fresh cut. The ladies can visit Chick Makes Custom Kicks, who will give your Nikes a unique custom look.
NDSM Loods Amsterdam
The first Dutch Crepe City edition will take place at the NDSM Loods in Amsterdam Noord. The location is easily accessible by public transport. A ferry (F4) sails every five minutes to the wharf and there is plenty of parking. The central location of the shed makes it a suitable activity to combine with a day out in Amsterdam.
The last tickets for the event are still available. A ticket costs €12.00 and children up to 10 years old have free access when they enter with a parent. The NDSM Loods opens its doors at 12:00 and the event lasts until 19:00. Please note that the VIP and Standard tickets are already sold out. So be quick to get your ticket!
