After collaborating with Nike and sacai on the LDWaffle in 2021, CLOT is releasing another sneaker with the American sports brand. CLOT and Nike have a rich history together and are far from stopping the collaborations. This year will see the release of a Nike Flux Dunk in collaboration with the Hong Kong-based label.
The Dunk stands out immediately. Instead of the smooth leather material mainly used on this silhouette, Edison Chen has opted for a more striking material. The entire upper is covered in a holographic material. This has given the sneaker a silver colour and makes it very shiny.
Another eye-catching detail are the overlays and the Swoosh. These are only outlined by the stitching. Thus, no additional material has been used to indicate these elements.
In order to stay in the same style as the upper, CLOT has also adapted the sole and laces. These elements have been given a shiny finish. CLOT wanted to push their creativity and see what was possible.
