CLOT and Converse come up with a 'Panda' pack

After the polar bear-inspired Ice Cold Pack from 2019, Edison Chen now comes with a CLOT x Converse 'Panda' pack. The collection pays homage to China's signature animal, the giant panda. The pack includes two classic styles, the Converse Chuck 70 Hi and the Converse Jack Purcell Ox. The pairs come in a mix of real and faux fur inspired by the iconic panda pattern. The Panda pack will be released on 11 November 2022.

Each silhouette has been redesigned with a mix of materials in a matching white and black colour combination. The Converse Chuck 70 Hi is made of hair-on-skin leather and faux fur, which have been applied to the model in a white colour. The furry All-Star patch and terry fabric on the tongue have been coloured black.

The material and colours allude to the iconic panda shades and its cosy, cuddly texture. The semi-transparent white sole has been given a panda paw print on the bottom, completing the whole cute theme. Edison Chen says of the animal:

“The giant panda is something that we relate to, obviously because of our Chinese heritage and culture. Being able to do something to give love and gain awareness for Panda in response to WWF’s International Panda Day in China is very important and a part of the new CLOT aesthetic, which is loving and trying to preserve the earth so that the future can enjoy its beauty,”

CLOT Founder and Creative Director Edison Chen.

The low-top Jack Purcell Ox comes in a similar design, but with a tonal artificial fur tongue that resembles the panda's hair. Finally, black and white laces come with the pairs and they are packaged in boxes with the animal on the top in a forest setting.

The CLOT x Converse 'Panda' Pack will be released on 11 November 2022. You can check out the pairs in detail below!
