Civilist and Nike come together with an Air Force 1 collab. The model celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2022 and does so with a new colorway. The sneaker does not have an official release date yet. However, we can expect the colorway in 2022.
Civilist and Nike have collaborated in the past. For example, Nike and the German skatestore came up with the SB Dunk Low in 2020. This sneaker turns black and takes on a special print when exposed to heat.
Now the two names are coming out with an Air Force 1 Low. The Air Force 1 was introduced in 1982 and is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. For this anniversary, Civilist brings back the famous 'heat map' inspired colorway on the Air Force 1 Low. This same technique was used on the SB Dunk Low.
This is how the sneaker turns black when it comes out of the box. The Civilist x Nike Air Force 1 Low has white stitching and white branding on the heel and tongue. When the sneaker is exposed to heat, the upper of the sneaker changes. The upper takes on a mottled pattern that combines the colours blue, red, yellow and green.
The Civilist x Nike Air Force 1 Low does not yet have an official release date. However, we can expect the sneaker in 2022. Keep an eye on the release calendar and stay tuned for the latest updates.
