The latest sneaker collaboration from Patta and Nike was well received during its release in early October 2021. The orange wavy mudguard on the Air Max 1 sold out in no time. Many sneaker lovers were also excited when it was announced that the 'The Wave' collection will include a blue 'Noise Aqua' colorway. Also, the first images have been shared of a new colorway: the Patta x The Wave Air Max 1 'Maroon'.
Although the blue version is almost identical to the first release of the 'Monarch' colorway, the 'Maroon' version differs from both pairs. The upper overlays are not white, but have the same red-purple colour that the wavy mudguard has. The swoosh and laces have also been given this shade. The colour orange is applied to the inside of the sneaker and on the upper eyelets for a contrasting effect.
