Nike and NBA are going big for the NBA's 75th anniversary. Various models will be dropped with designs inspired by famous US basketball clubs. One of these designs is the Nike Air Force 1 'Lakers'.
The colorway is inspired by both the past and present of the team: the Lakers. The Lakers' logo consists mainly of purple and this shade can be found along for example the centre panel. Furthermore, a light blue colour can also be found on the shoe. This shade was previously used a lot for the team. On the heel tab, the recognisable 'L' can be seen as a reference to the club.
