Together with NAKED Copenhagen, New Balance releases the 'Community' pack. With the pack, the two names are highlighting their creative community and dropping new variants of the 1080v11 and 725.
NAKED Copenhagen
NAKED Copenhagen is a Danish brand and was founded in 2014. The brand is mainly focused on cutting-edge streetwear for women and strives for empowerment for women and girls. They do this by offering a platform where women and girls can express themselves. NAKED Copenhagen also tries to create space in an industry that is not dominated by men.
The brand is also dedicated to the stories of various creative people, including the New Balance brand. Thus, the sports brand not only stands for 'sneakers' and 'running shoes', but also for the people who are driven by their passions.
NAKED Copenhagen x New Balance 'Community' Pack
The 'Community' pack consists of an updated version of the 1080v11 and 725. Both pairs share the same 'Cloud Cream' and 'Sea Salt' colour scheme and are fully inspired by the creative community that NAKED Copenhagen and New Balance have established over the years.
New Balance 1080v11
First up, we have the 1080v11. The model features a stretch knit upper in a 'Cloud Cream' colorway. On top of this, you can find a graphic print that has been given a 'Sea Salt' hue. On the middle panel, the N-logo is stitched in silver and finished with a black border.
The model is the perfect mix of performance and lifestyle. The soles, too, have been given a special structure, with Fresh Foam and Ultra Heel technology. This ensures that the sneaker has a perfect fit.
New Balance 725
The 725 is more of a lifestyle sneaker and shares the same colour scheme as the 1080v11. The sneaker takes its inspiration from the running shoes of the year 2000 and combines fashion with functionality.
New Balance and NAKED Copenhagen are ditching the textile upper with this pair. Instead, this pair has a mesh upper. This is put in multiple layers over the base in 'UV Glow'. The soles are processed with C-CAP technology and provide the perfect cushioning and support.
The Drop
Luckily, we won't have to wait long for the pairs, and they will be dropped at both NAKED Copenhagen and New Balance. The 1080v11 and 750 will be released at NAKED Copenhagen on December 9, 2021. At New Balance, the sneakers will be available from December 16, 2021.
