Casablanca has officially announced that the fashion brand is partnering with New Balance again. This Autumn and Winter, they will focus on the shoe brand's new XC-72 model.
New Balance and Casablanca are anything but strangers to each other. The two brands first started working together in 2020. The first two sneakers they released together were on the 327 model. This model has returned more often on later collaborations together with the 237. Casablanca and New Balance decided it was time to collaborate on a new model, the XC-72.
Casablanca x New Balance XC-72
In early August, Casablanca announced that their Autumn and Winter collection was inspired by the Monaco Grand Prix. The choice of the XC-72 model by New Balance is only logical. This model is inspired by car racing.
The upper of this new model consists of leather and suede and is made of perforated leather in white. The small holes allow the ventilation of the shoe to continue. Above the base are yellow suede overlays with red accents.
The branding on the heel and the 'N' on the side are in red. The laces and tongue are yellow. Around the heel is a rubber element that resembles the profile of a car tyre. The midsole and outsole stick out. This is like the bumper of the sneaker.
The Casablanca x New Balance XC-72 does not have an official release date yet, but according to the luxury fashion brand, we can expect this pair very soon.
