Bridging The Gap: 10 Years of Filling Pieces

Filling Pieces celebrates their first decade with the presentation of the film Bridging The Gap: 10 Years of Filling Pieces. The documentary, made in collaboration with Vice, gives an exclusive look into the brand of creative director Guillaume Philibert.

Bridging The Gap

In the 10 years that Filling Pieces has existed, the Amsterdam-based brand has grown into an international fashion brand with complete collections of shoes, clothing and accessories. At the crossroads of high-end fashion and streetwear, Filling Pieces bridged the gap between different worlds and cultures within the fashion world. Bridging The Gap: 10 Years of Filling Pieces retroactively follows Guillaume Philibert and his colleagues on this journey.

The documentary was made in collaboration with Vice and directed by Joey Boink. It features important figures behind the brand, including Philibert's friends and family, as well as prominent figures from the international fashion industry, such as Hussein Suleiman of Daily Paper, Kerby Jean-Raymond of Pyer Moss and David Fischer of Highsnobiety.

Besides the release of their documentary, Filling Pieces will also open a new flagship store in the centre of Amsterdam in July 2021. With 300 square meters, this will be their largest shop to date. The flagship store will not only showcase and sell their collections, but will also be a meeting place for creatives and entrepreneurs from the community, where themes such as inclusivity, mental health, music, sports and art will be discussed.
