Billionaire Boys Club (BBC) and Reebok are collaborating on a sneaker again. For their next release, the two are working on a pair of special Instapump Fury BOOST sneakers. The Steven Smith-designed silhouette uses organic elements for some tech-infused retro runners.
Billionaire Boys Club x Reebok Instapump Fury BOOST
The duo will soon release two versions of the Instapump Fury BOOST. One dressed in earth tones: pine green, boulder grey and triathlon red and the other in water tones: dandy blue, sky blue and yellow sensation.
The two Instapumps feature several new details. For example, they have an upper enriched with ultra-strong Cordura fabric, reflective 3M on the front, premium leather on the toebox and BBC's Helmet motif on top of the Pump button. There is also adidas BOOST tech in the white midsoles, providing extreme comfort and cushioning. Furthermore, they have a hang tag that shows a BBC ICE CREAM logo.
“The concept, the colorways, the presentation – these are really nice expansions of my original designs (…) I always enjoy seeing what BBC is working on and love the way the colours are applied here in new ways. It’s an honor to see them taking an interest in the Fury.”Steven Smith
Not the first collab
Billionaire Boys Club is working on the Instapump for the first time, but it's not the first Reebook the streetwear brand has worked on. The label has released several special Reebok collaborations in the past year alone. For example, two Question silhouettes were launched in October with original patterns, honoring the throwback motifs "Beepers & Butts" and "Name Chains".
On April 23, 2021, both Billionaire Boys Club Instapump Fury BOOST silhouettes will launch via Billionaire Boys Club. Subsequently, the sneakers will be sold on April 30, 2021 via Reebok and other selected retailers. Furthermore, both sneakers carry a price tag of €180.
