Beyoncé and adidas end IVY PARK collaboration

The long-term collaboration between Beyoncé and adidas is coming to an end. Under the name IVY PARK, the two names have already released several collections since 2019. Now, in 2023, the collaboration between the two names is coming to an end after disappointing sales figures.

In 2016, singer Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter, better known as Beyoncé, founded her own clothing brand; IVY PARK. Together with Topshop, the singer released several collections at the time. In 2018, the collaboration with Topshop ended and the singer joined adidas in 2019.

At adidas, Beyoncé was appointed creative design partner of the IVY PARK line. The clothing line included sneakers, apparel and accessories. In early February 2023, IVY PARK released the "PARK TRAIL" collection. The campaign featured Offset, Ice Spice and Devon Aoki, among others, wearing the singer's clothing items.

Despite the unique campaign, even this collection did not bring in much to adidas. The deal between the singer and the German sports brand was already supposed to come to an end at the end of 2023, and now it seems that this process is being accelerated. Due to disappointing sales figures, the two have decided to part ways.

It seems Beyoncé is joining forces with high-end brand Balmain shortly after her break with adidas. Together with fashion designer Olivier Rousteing, the singer will come up with a 'Renaissance Couture' collection. The collection brings the vision of her album 'Renaissance,' which won a Grammy in 2022, to an exclusive clothing line.

Whether IVY PARK will still be sued by the singer herself is not yet known. Should you want to see more news items like this, check out our news page.
