Auralee collaborates with New Balance again, and this time they are releasing two colorways on the 2002R. The models will be released in 2022.
AURALEE x New Balance 2002R
Japanese label AURALEE cooperates with New Balance on the new 2002R. AURALEE is known for its minimalist designs and light colours. Earlier this year, the two brands also released a collab together on the New Balance 550 in colorway 'Pistachio Ecru', which dropped in August 2021 and proved very popular.
In the new collab, the brands have worked on the 2002R model. Two different colorways of the silhouette have been released. Both pairs showcase the work of AURALEE and give the sneakers a light and minimalistic design.
The first 'Buttercream' colorway consists of different light yellow and beige shades. The toebox of the sneaker has been given a light grey colour, which is also reflected in the midsole. The 'N' logo is given a light beige colour and matches the model's overlays and laces.
The second colorway is an off-white model. The sneaker combines different ecru shades and has brown suede accents on the heel. The midsole has a grey tone that is very similar to the beige colorway. The 'N' logo is the same colour as the rest of the upper. At the heel, the '2002R' label is stitched. A striking detail is the light yellow outsole.
The exact release date of the two colorways is not yet known. The sneakers are part of AURALEE's Spring/Summer collection and will most likely be released in early 2022.
