In the midst of the holiday season, Jordan Brand releases the next Air J1 High in an eye-catching look of predominantly black and yellow. The Air Jordan 1 Retro High 'Pollen' is scheduled for release in early August 2021. In this post, we check out all the details on the kicks and tell you which retailers you can buy the shoes from. Air Jordan 1 Retro High 'Pollen' | 555088-701
We've seen the combination of the colours black and yellow before. Not only is it a popular change for shoes, but it's also a tradition for colleges and some sports clubs. Now comes the Air Jordan 1 High variant dressed in a leather upper. The base is black, while the overlays and heel area appear in yellow. The Wings Air Jordan logo then comes in black again on a yellow background.

The midsole in white provides a colour contrast. The Nike Swoosh is also in yellow, as are the laces. Nike also provides white laces for the Retro High in the 'Pollen' colourway, which can provide a further contrast. If you get the shoes, you can try out the laces.
The outsole is yellow again and contrasts slightly with the white sole. The Nike Air label on the tongue is also yellow with a black Swoosh and white 'Nike Air' lettering. We take a look at more details below.
Release date and further details
Officially, the shoe will be released on Saturday 07 August 2021 and will then cost €160 in retail. However, there are already rumours that the release will be postponed to 23 August. We will keep you up to date with our release calendar.
As always, these models will be released at 9AM on the Nike SNKRS app and will be available via a draw. Otherwise, you have the chance to get the shoes at the usual retailers via Raffle or FCFS. As soon as we have more information there, you will find an overview with all retailers by following the link below.
Nike has also come up with something for the shoe box and given the classic box a yellow coat of paint. The Swoosh and the Nike lettering, for example, are in yellow. Below you can see an on foot picture of the new Air Jordan 1 Retro High 'Pollen'.
