The Air Jordan 1 Element Gore-Tex 'Light Bone' is expected to be released soon. Earlier in 2021, another colorway of the AJ1 Element Gore-Tex was also shown. The 'Light Bone' will be released in 2021.

The silhouette of the Air Jordan 1 Element consists of the material Gore-Tex. This material is waterproof and is widely used in the manufacture of outdoor clothing and outdoor shoes. The material was invented by accident in 1969 when father and son Gore wanted to make plumber's tape.
Gore-Tex consists of Teflon and is both wind and waterproof. On the other hand, the material is breathable, which makes it ideal for outdoor clothing. The breathability of Gore-Tex in combination with the water repellent element, makes the material very popular by brands such as The North Face, adidas and also Nike. In the past Nike worked with Gore-Tex and released several Air Force 1's with this material.
The Element Gore-Tex 'Light Bone' has a fresh look. The nose and tongue have a white colour and contrast with the black details in the laces and collar. Also the Air Jordan logo on the heel and the swoosh on the midsection have been given a black colour. On the heel, 'Gore-Tex' is printed in black.
The midsole of the Air Jordan 1 Element Gore-Tex is coloured white and the outsole is black. The underside of the sole has a mottled pattern where black and white contrast.
