Earlier in the summer of 2021, Aimé Leon Dore launched several FW21 campaign videos shot in Greece. In the videos we got a glimpse of the new collection for Autumn and Winter. The lookbook images have now been launched with special and inclusive models.
Teddy Santis, the founder of ALD, values the places he comes from. In the videos, we saw locals from Greece as models. In the lookbook images, we see locals from Queens, New York. Santis grew up here.
As you scroll through the images, you will see members of the fire service, various professional athletes and models who also grew up in Queens. In this way, Aimé Leon Dore is making the world of fashion more inclusive and accessible to all who have aspirations in this industry.
The new collection is styled with a lot of New Balance sneakers. The iconic 550 model will be back, but it's still uncertain if it will be restocked. Another silhouette that will be featured is the 993 in two different colorways. A 'Beef & Broccoli' colorway and a blue and cream colorway.
