Ahead of the start of the college basketball season and the highly anticipated “Midnight Madness” celebrations across the country, adidas unveils the new Forum Low 'College Pack' collection. This collection honors the Forum Low's iconic design at Kansas, Louisville, Indiana, and Arizona State universities.
“We have seen incredible interest in the Rivalry collection we launched last month. Both from fans and university students at Grambling State, Miami, and Texas A&M. Now we are excited to introduce custom streetwear to even more campuses. The Forum, a basketball icon, is now a sensation in the world of streetwear. It also fits seamlessly with the universities' colours,” said Peter Gellert, managing director of adidas Originals Basketball Footwear.
Moving away from suede, which was originally introduced in the collection in early September, the 1984 silhouette now features a leather construction. This is embellished with subtle suede accents that bring the signature serrated stripes to life. In addition, the majority of the shoes consist of cream-colored tumbled leather as a base. Furthermore, the colour of the respective university returns on the front, side, tongue edge, and collar lining. Moreover, the iconic Three Stripes on the side and the trefoil logo are complemented by the university's striking third colour. The team's mascot also appears on the tongue tag. So there is no doubt about your loyalty to the school!
