adidas comes with a special capsule called 'Gore-Tex Underground'. The capsule is inspired by the city of London and consists of two classic adidas models.
adidas 'GORE-TEX Underground' capsule
The adidas ZX 9000 and the ULTRABOOST. These are the two models that appear in the capsule. For the design, the brand takes its inspiration from the city of London. Thus, adidas adds a few elements to the silhouettes that are a bit more technical and functional. In addition, the ZX 9000 and the ULTRABOOST have an all-black colorway with a small display of red and yellow.
adidas ZX 9000 'GORE-TEX Underground'
The base of the ZX 9000 is made up of textile and GORE-TEX materials, and provides protection from the rain. Over the laces is a fidlock closure. Reflective accents are placed on top of this for good visibility in the dark. Finally, you will find a GORE-TEX tag on the middle panel and the soles of this pair are black.
adidas ULTRABOOST 'GORE-TEX Underground'
The second pair also has an upper made of GORE-TEX materials. The sneaker contains a special lacing system, on which a red ribbon can be found. On the middle panel, the GORE-TEX tag is visible and on the heel you can read 'ULTRABOOST' in white. Furthermore, the soles are processed with BOOST technology, which gives the shoe a comfortable feel.
The Drop
Keep an eye on your diary because the pairs will be released on two different days. The adidas ZX 9000 dropped on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 and the ULTRABOOST will drop on January 1, 2022.
