Basketball legend Kobe Bryant created his first signature trainer in collaboration with adidas in the early 2000s, under the name the adidas Crazy 1. During NBA All-Star weekend 2023, a revamped silhouette inspired by Kobe was teased and now we await the release. On 26 July 2023, the adidas Crazy IIInfinity 003 'Chalk' will drop.
On 26 June 2023, Viktor Kan, brand director of trainer retailer Packer, already showed a few images of the new concept of adidas Basketball on Instagram. With its chunky beige sole and zip-up upper, the upcoming design is a real eye-catcher.
The thick sole in particular bears a resemblance to the original Crazy 1. adidas branding is shown on the sole in a minimalist way. The zip on the top of the silhouette can be unzipped to reveal the model's tongue.
