Last year, adidas and Offspring released an adidas ZX 10000 and a ZX 8000 together. These sneakers were inspired by Los Angeles and London. Now it's time for a new London variant.
Offspring is a sneaker shop from London, where you can find exclusive models like Jordan's and Yeezys. The shop opened in 1996. At that time, there was a gap in the market to sell the most wanted sneakers, and Offspring took advantage of this. By taking this step, the shop grew very fast. Sneaker fans knew how to find the shop and stood in line for hours.
To this day, Offspring is one of the best known sneaker shops in London. The shop has also had the opportunity to do several collaborations with big brands.
Offspring x adidas ZX 'London to LA' pack
Offspring x adidas ZX 8000 'London Bridge' | FX3100
The first ZX collab between Offspring and adidas was the ZX 8000 'London Bridge'. It came out in May of 2020. This sneaker features the colours of Tower Bridge in the centre of London.
The upper of this sneaker is made of a combination of mesh and suede. The blue colour is a nod to the same blue that can also be seen on the bridge. The three stripes on the side are purple. The light colour on the plastic overlay and on the overlay around the laces was also seen on the ZX 10000 'LA' a month later.

The second ZX between Offspring and adidas was the ZX 10000 'LA'. It was released in June 2020. Many colours from the Hollywood Hills can be found on this model. This was also the main source of inspiration during the design process.
The base of the upper is a grey shade. The overlays above are in an earthy colour, as is the overlay around the toe cap. On the nose and on the heel are light blue accents that hint at the trainer above. On the lace lock is both the adidas and Offspring logo.
Offspring x adidas 'LDN to LA part 2' pack
There will be a sequel to the first pack with an adidas ZX 9000 representing London.
Offspring x adidas ZX 9000 'LDN' | GZ7044
The Offspring x adidas ZX 9000 has London at its heart. What stands out is the contrasting stitching scattered throughout the sneaker's design. The upper also features exposed foam at the three adidas stripes, a reverse label on the tongue and the product label on the outside. This gives the model an unfinished look, which is the intention, as it radiates the industrial side of London.
The inspiration taken for this sneaker can be found in the English flag. Red, white and blue are common on the upper. On the heel is a blue twisted line, representing the river Thames. Underneath are the coordinates of the river. The turquoise hues hint at the OG ZX 9000. This was a popular colorway in the UK.
On the insoles you can see a map of the city. The Offspring shops are marked on it. Stickers are included with the purchase.
The Offspring x adidas ZX 9000 'LDN' will be released on Saturday, July 24th. Don't want to miss this release and wonder if there's another 'LA' variant coming?
