A St Patrick's Day colorway arrives for the Air Force 1

St Patricks's Day is only a short time away! The first colourways are already popping up in celebration of the Irish holiday. We've already seen the Nike Air Max 90 get a makeover. Now we can expect the same colourway on the Air Force 1!

St Patrick's Day is a Bank Holiday of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Montserrat. Even the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador celebrate it! St Patrick's Day commemorates the country's patron saint, Saint Patrick, every year on 17 March. The colour of the holiday is green. Everyone dresses in green, there are large parades and you can even buy green beer! There has been a St Patrick's Day colorway on the Air Force 1 before. This pair came out in 2010 and we haven't seen a colorway that celebrates the Irish holiday since.

Looking at the upper, it is made entirely of leather. White leather makes up the midfoot and heel patch. Different shades of green are used over the rest of the upper. For example, the Swoosh, toebox and sockliner have been given a light green colour. Meanwhile the rest of the overlays are a lot darker. We see the iconic four-leaf clover engraved all over the heel overlay. Looking at the sole, we see that the outsole and AIR on the midsole have been given a green colour.

It is not yet clear when exactly the Nike Air Force 1 'St Patrick's Day' will be released. We do expect the sneaker around the holiday on 17 March.
