A Ma Maniere, an Atlanta-based shop, is coming out with a new Air Jordan. Following the recent A Ma Maniere x Air Jordan 4 'Violet Ore' release in 2022, this time the Air Jordan 12 gets a makeover. The sneaker comes in two colorways; the 'Black/Burgundy' and the 'White/Burgundy', and pays tribute to "black women". Both colorways will be available on 14 and 15 February 2023, and the general release will take place on 24 February 2023.
A Ma Maniere and Nike are no strangers to each other. In recent years, the two released the Air Jordan 1, Air Jordan 2, Air Jordan 3 and Air Jordan 4. This time, the Air Jordan 12 gets a makeover and the sneaker comes in two colorways; the 'Black/Burgundy' and the 'White/Burgundy'.
"She's the Blueprint"
The sneaker's release campaign comes with an accompanying film; "She's the Blueprint", made by The Whitaker Group. In the film, James Whitner pays tribute to "black women" and expresses his gratitude for their efforts to push style and social awareness forward, inside and outside the fashion world.
The A Ma Maniere x Air Jordan 12 'Black/Burgundy' and 'White/Burgundy' have a chic look. The 'White/Burgundy' colourway has a leather upper. Deep red overlays on the centre panel contrast nicely with the upper. Silver eyestays give the model a sleek look.
The 'Black/Burgundy' colourway comes with an upper made of suede, with the upper coloured black and the overlays a deep red. A Ma Maniere branding appears on the tongue, heel and lace eyelets. The sneakers come with matching apparel, including a jacquard down-filled puffer, a suede tracksuit, monogrammed jacquard hoodies and shirts.
To prioritise the ladies, the A Ma Maniere x Air Jordan 12 will be available for women first. On 14 and 15 February 2023, the ladies can have a chance to win the sneakers via raffles. From 16 to 19 February 2023, the general public can enter the raffles.
The collection and sneakers will drop via general release on 24 February 2023 at A Ma Maniere.
