After the success of the Rick and Morty x MB.01, room is being made for its successor. On 17 February 2023, a year after its predecessor, the Rick and Morty X PUMA MB.02 will be released.
The first collab was created as an ode to basketball player LaMello Ball's favourite cartoon series. LaMello has been collaborating with PUMA since 2020 and now comes up with a Rick and Morty-inspired basketball shoe for the second time.
Like the MB.01, the MB.02 is a pair with different coloured shoes. The right shoe has a sheet pink tongue and laces in the same colour, and the sole and toe are neon yellow. The left shoe, on the other hand, has a dark purple tongue with matching laces, with a sole and toe in neon green.
What makes the second collab even more special is the fact that Rick and Morty can now actually be seen on the shoes themselves. One tongue features Rick's face and the other Morty. For the icing on the cake, the inside of both the characters' tongues also feature their own catchphrase.
