These adidas Superstar Futurshell pairs add a futuristic twist to the classic Superstar for women. The legendary silhouette has been given a transparent outer upper layer. There is also another layer underneath the transparent one to strategically allow the iconic stripes to shine through. In addition, the shoes get many small (semi) transparent details. This adidas women's Superstar was launched through a collaboration between Angel Chen and adidas. Angel took the design and gave it some new details. The result is a futuristic pair with a soft creative touch.

The term Bold really hits the nail on the head with this look. This adidas Superstar Bold model deviates from the classic upper and replaces it with a transparent TPU layer, creating an unexpected look. Apart from that, adidas also decided to add a platform sole.

For this particular pair, adidas stayed true to the OG Superstar model but added an extra detail. Namely, the laces are covered with a special leather detail. The fringe and the branding in the middle give the shoe that certain extra. However, these leather parts can also be removed so that you get an OG model. Ingenious!

This adidas model for Chinese New Year offers a lot. From the combination of pony hair and leather to the gold buffalo ring and the Chinese sign on the back. In addition, the traditional red colour was chosen to complement and cover many details of the shoes.
