Puma have released a collaborate Pokémon collection based on the original starter Pokémon from Gen 1, namely Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle. These Kanto-based Pokémon dress five different sneakers, with Pikachu’s likeness seen on both the RS-X and Rider FV, Bulbasaur’s on the Rider FV, Charmander’s on the Slipstream Lo, and Squirtle’s on the Suede. 

The Pokémon x Puma Slipstream Lo 'Charmander' (387686-01) takes on the orange colour scheme of its namesake, with yellow suede overlayed by textured orange panels, white laces and midsole, and a camouflage-print sole in fiery oranges, reds, and yellows. Additional touches include Charmander’s face featured on the tongue tab, the Pokédex number printed on the inside of the tongue, and a fire elemental symbol on the heel tab. A Charmander charm is also attached to the sneaker.
