The Nike Dunk Low ‘Jackie Robinson’ (DV2122-400) is a special edition model celebrating the 75th anniversary of Jackie Robinson breaking the baseball colour line on April 15, 1947, when he started at first base for the Brooklyn Dodgers. Dressed in blue, cream, white and black, the colorway is a nod to the Dodger’s colours. With a cream suede upper and royal blue overlay sitting on a white and black sole, special details include the baseball-themed laces, faded blue suede Swoosh, embroidered Swoosh on the toe-box, #42 detailing on the heel and a 75th anniversary patch on the tongue. As a final touch, the quote “I’m not concerned with your liking or disliking me. All I ask is that you respect me as a human being” has been placed on the insole and on the upper blue panels.
