The Nike Air Max 1 Line-Up for Air Max Day 2022
On 26 March 2022 it's that time again: Nike Air Max Day is just around the corner with a lot of special releases, dear community. To celebrate the annual sneaker event, Nike is once again joining forces with the members of the sneaker community. Let's take a look at the highlights of this year's Nike Air Max 1 releases, fam. heat alert!
Well, it looks like the Air Max collections are about to get even bigger as Nike has just confirmed three colorways of the Air Max 1 for Air Max Day 2022. There will be several releases again this year, which will be area exclusive.
Exclusively available in Europe, the Air Max 1 'La Ville-Lumière', also known as the 'City of Lights', was designed for the WMNS and features an additional silver tag of famous models. Its grey and white upper is perfectly finished with a special 'shiny' effect.
This is followed by the North America exclusive Air Max 1 'Blueprint' which features a grid-like pattern on the Tinker Hatfield designed Air Max 1; UNC Vibes! The third model is exclusive to Asia Pacific and Latin America. The kicks are a real eye-catcher due to the eye-catching colorway.
All three pairs will release on Air Max Day, 26 March 2022, in the respective regions via the Nike SNKRS app, as well as at individual retailers.

The sneaker has a quiet base of white and grey. However, this is not what makes the sneaker so special; it's the materials used. The overlays are made of an iridescent material. The mudguard comes in a very light grey colour, almost beige. The biggest inspiration behind the design is Paris, La Ville Lumiere or the 'city of lights'. The text 'La Ville Lumiere' can be read on the outsole. The whole look is completed with a chain with the date 3.36, a Swoosh and a mini Air Max 1.
Besides the Air Max 1 La Ville Lumiere, which is only a European drop, Nike also came out with a special drop for Asia and America.
