The New Balance 550 are very popular. The collaborations between the shoe brand and Joe Freshgoods are also very popular with sneaker fans. For the 'Conversations Amongst Us' collection, which also includes a 2002R, they gave the 550 a major makeover. The upper of the 550 silhouette is mainly made of leather, just like the collaborations with Aimé Leon Dore. For this release, the upper is made of canvas. This gives the sneaker a raw look. The colour scheme is a light yellow. The light yellow 'N' on the side of the upper is outlined with black. With this collection also came a clothing line in the same colours.
