Fashion designer Rick Owens has collaborated with Converse to introduce a bold platform edition of his DRKSTAR Chuck 70 Hi ‘Black’. In this rebellious reinterpretation, the Chuck 70 silhouette is given a double-stacked platform sole, elevating the overall look and challenging traditional design norms. Rick Owens infuses distinctive speckled details into the signature rubber components, including the toe cap, heel, and foxing tape.
With distorted elements, this collaboration pushes the boundaries of the iconic silhouette. It has an elongated tongue, black canvas upper, and custom moulded DRKSHDW components, including the toecap, rubber heel, and toe. It also boasts unique branding, including a DRKSHDW license plate on the left heel and a Converse-branded license plate on the right heel. To complete the package, the sneakers come with spare laces and a branded wrap-around woven label. This collab is also available in the Chuck 70 'Natural Ivory'.
