Following the success of the recent release of the WORKSOUT x Nike Air Max 95 earlier this month, a new colorway called 'Thunder Blue' is now being introduced. The sneaker combines the signature, sleek design elements we've come to expect from WORKSOUT.
The designs from the South Korean label are inspired by school uniforms and are characterized by a minimalist aesthetic. This theme was also evident in the previous release, where the campaign appeared to be shot at a high school. Bring this understated style to an Air Max 95 and you’ve got gold on your hands.
The WORKSOUT x Nike Air Max 95 'Thunder Blue' features a dark blue upper with a subtle gradient. Accents in ‘Summit White’ and ‘Enigma Stone’ give the sneaker a clean look, with a textured Swoosh on the mid-panel.
The updated lacing system, reflective panels, and glow-in-the-dark details provide modern functionality and style. At the heel, the inner layers have been exposed, creating a strong visual contrast. Minimal branding on the tongue and insole completes the sleek, balanced design.
At the time of writing, there is no official release date yet, but the sneaker is expected to drop at Nike sometime in 2025. Keep an eye on the Sneakerjagers news page for updates on the release.
WORKSOUT is a South Korean streetwear retailer, founded in 2003 by Seunghyuk Kang and Sunyoung Park. Collaborations with brands like Nike, Vans, and Carhartt WIP have helped the brand gain international recognition and acclaim.
