Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG 'UNC Toe' | DZ5485-400
We were introduced to the iconic Air Jordan 1 model in 1985 of course. The release was linked to Micheal Jordan's first year in the NBA. Before Micheal was part of the Chicago Bulls, he played for the University of North Carolina for three years. The university's logo is light blue, which is why Jordan played in a light blue jersey during that period. In honour of Micheal's time at North Carolina, the Air Jordan 1 'UNC' colour scheme was released.
In 2021, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High 'University Blue' was released but this is certainly not the only model you could see the colorway on, we also saw the colour on the Air Jordan 5, Air Jordan 6 and on the Nike Dunk, among others.
Now it is finally time for a new AJ1 with the UNC colour. A striking feature of the upcoming release is its toebox. In fact, the sneaker is named after the fact that the toebox is coloured blue.
