Vans OTW is bringing the Era back in a two-piece pack with a snakeskin theme. The Vans OTW Era Snakeskin comes in a black and an off-white colorway, and both pairs play with contrast between materials. When the Vans OTW Era Snakeskin lands in Europe has not been confirmed yet.

Both pairs start from the same idea. The quarter features sturdy panels with a snakeskin texture. The toe and collar, on the other hand, get a smooth, silky material. That makes the upper feel like two shoes in one: rough on the side, glossy up front. The familiar silhouette stays intact otherwise, including the low-cut profile and the recognisable lacing.

Two colours, two patterns
The difference goes beyond colour. The black version (VN00114BBLK) centres on embroidered florals. The off-white pair (VN00114BIGC) uses a Desert Camo pattern as its base. One reads dark and refined, the other lighter and a little rougher.

There is a clear overlap with the Floral Rivets pack Vans released just before. That one added metal accents to the shoe; this duo leaves them out. The focus here is entirely on texture.

It fits a strong year for the low-top. In recent months the Era got a classic re-issue and a collaboration with Satoshi Nakamoto. With the Vans OTW Era Snakeskin, the brand builds on that, this time with a clear material story.

A confirmed EU release date and retail price in euros for the Vans OTW Era Snakeskin are not available yet. Vans has not shared a concrete date for Europe. Once the pack arrives in Europe, you can find both pairs at Vans.
