Nike collaborates with Swarovski and comes up with two variants of the Air Force 1. The black and white pairs come with a screwdriver to adjust the Swarovski overlays. Both colorways have no official release date yet.
Swarovski x Nike Air Force 1 'Triple White' & 'Triple Black'
Jewellery brand Swarovski is once again collaborating with Nike. Earlier in 2021, the names already released the Air Max 97 'Polar Blue'. This sneaker is silver in colour and had an upper with Swarovski crystals. Also, the Dunk Low x Cactus Plant Flea Market in 2020 was covered in Swarovski crystals.
In the new collab, the Air Force 1 model gets a "brilliant" makeover. The classic model comes in the colorways 'Triple White' and 'Triple Black' and both have a special design. Unlike previous collaborations with Swarovski, the upper is not covered in crystals, but you can screw it on and off yourself.
Both sneakers are made of leather and have overlay panels. These elements have a dynamic pattern and are decorated with Swarovski stones. The swoosh on the middle panel has been given its own crystal overlay, as well as the tongue, nose and heel. The special feature of the overlays, apart from their special appearance of course, is that they can be unscrewed individually.
The Swarovski x Nike Air Force 1 comes with a custom screwdriver. The screwdriver is printed with the words 'Nike Air Force 1' and is especially designed for the overlays on the silhouette. You can use the screwdriver to take them off and screw them on. The screws can be unscrewed on the midsole, tongue, collar and swoosh.
